Snelling, CA-October 2010

Snelling is a hamlet of 3000 people one passes on the way to the Sierra Nevada and Yosemite. It is located along the Merced River. Needless to say, it is along the same trail of mining camps that sprouted up during the gold rush and was a stop for many miners on the way to "'dem 'der hills". It has a certain charm.
