Mo and the Big Sky, Point Lobos, 2008

This is what makes photography fun. Look at the first image. It's my friend, laying on a rock and looking down at me. It is a cool image because of the dramatic sky. The patterns in the rock recall the patterns in the sky. All of the elements blend into one.



But take the color out, you still get all the drama of the sky, only now it looks like my friend is hanging over a cliff from his feet and looking up at me with a swirling sea waiting to swallow him. Pretty cool how you can change your perspective!
